2016 High School Summer Research Internship Program Culminating Poster Session

2016 JGBCC Summer Interns Work on Amazing Array of Topics

Wednesday, August 3, the JGBCC 2016 Summer Research Interns showcased the work they have done in the labs of and with their mentors over the summer.  From 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Clinical & Translational Research Building on the Health Sciences Campus they presented research posters on a wide-range of topics (see the list below).

This competitive program, now in it’s 14th year, ran for 8-weeks, from Monday June 13 through Friday August 5.

At the end of this 8-week period, the JGBCC HSSRIP interns prepared posters for presentation at a special Culminating Poster Session organized for the last Wednesday afternoon of the program.  At this session posters – presented by the JGBCC Summer Research Interns and the summer college interns from the other science programs on the Health Sciences Campus – showcased the work each intern completed over the summer.

Congratulations to all of the HSSRIP interns who did an excellent job!
